Happily! Studies have found that on average, immigrants from certain countries are debt takers from the fiscal pot over their lifetimes. The average immigrant from the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan never pay more to the government than they use in benefits. Immigrants (legal or illegal) without a college education are a lifetime fiscal burden of up to $400,000 while each immigrant under the age of 35 with a graduate degree reduces the budget deficit by over 1 million in net present value during their lifetime. The “higher cost of all the services provided to immigrants and the lower taxes they pay (because of lower earnings) inevitably implies that on a year-to-year basis immigration creates a fiscal hole of at least 50 billion.”

Well, then, I feel bad for you and I think you should definitely leave the country immediately and move to somewhere in the Middle East where you will be an example for all. Please take as many of your like-minded friends as you can with you. And, the State Department has cut the fee Americans must pay to renounce their U.S. citizenship by roughly 80%, lowering the cost from $2,350 to $450 under a new rule that took effect a few months ago. I believe in freedom of speech, but there is no freedom from accountability, and the related consequences of that speech. You can say whatever you like, but you will be held responsible for what you say, and you can be criticized for saying it. Consequences include loss of friends, and/or family members, and loss of employment. Think very carefully before you open your mouth. Sometimes it’s better to just sit on your opinion no matter how strongly it’s felt.
