Last Thursday the Tesla solar panels on my home roof caught on fire. Almost a week has gone by and, despite repeated attempts , I have yet to be able to connect with anyone at Tesla regarding the cause of the fire, repairs and the condition of the remaining panels. Unbelievable
A follow up to the Tesla solar panel fire. Fire dept says cause unknown. Tesla claims squirrel damage and/or nest. Perhaps this is why all installers other than Tesla install critter guards. Meanwhile I have a melted wire connector that looks very suspicious

@hostagecs @FermisSocks I am putting in a lot of work just trying to figure out what to do next and how to be sure that I don’t have future fires. It would be nice if Tesla helped
@hostagecs @FermisSocks I have been on line with their service center every day. As I said in my original message, despite repeated and lengthy sessions with a call center representative I have not been able to talk to any manager or expert about causes or next steps.
@FermisSocks They shut down the phone line. You can only do an online chat with an agent who tells me that they will follow up with pricing for replacement. Not willing to follow up on the cause
