Extremely proud of how these young Marines carried themselves at LA Fleet Week. 💚
Find them and recognize them. 🪙
Lady: “I can’t believe nobody here has been to war.”
Marine: “No, ma’am.”
Lady: “How can you be representing war if you haven’t seen war?”
Marine: “We are not representing war. We are representing what you can do for our country and our people.”
Lady: “You can hear my opinion, but I don’t want your opinion.”
Lady: “If you haven’t been to war, that’s why you guys are here. If you were they would’ve never brought you guys here.”
Lady 2: “When you say, ‘What can we do for our country?’ what about the homeless?”
Marines: “Have a nice day.”
Not a single raised voice. Not a single ounce of disrespect. Just young men and women standing in uniform, choosing discipline over anger and honor over ego.
In a world that rewards outrage, they showed restraint.
In a moment designed to provoke them, they answered with dignity.
These Marines may not have seen war yet — and we should pray they never have to — but they already understand sacrifice, service, and what it means to put something greater than themselves first.
That’s the kind of character this country is built on. 🇺🇸

What was with our society’s obsession with quicksand when we were kids? At the time I genuinely believed it was one of the world’s leading causes of death. Every birthday marked another 365 days of somehow avoiding quicksand,

Listen to the story of Colonel Bob Efferson as he talks about his battle-damaged A-10 and how its purpose-built survivability brought him home.
There were 17 major holes just below the cockpit and not a scratch on the pilot. The titanium bathtub saved his life.
☀️ Today in Utqiagvik (the northernmost city in the United States), the sun rose above the horizon at 2:57 AM and won’t set again for 84 straight days or until August 2nd! Here's a look at a timelapse showing the sunset and sunrise this morning. #akwx
Our Sandusky Marine Unit was honored to escort the USS Cleveland this morning. The U.S. Navy will commission the future Freedom-variant Littoral Combat Ship USS Cleveland (LCS 31) on May 16, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio. GOD BLEAS AMERICA! 🇺🇸
I have to give Fernando his flowers here. During yesterday’s event, amongst hundreds of people shouting off the top of their lungs to get his attention, an event usher informed him that this young fan wished to ask him a few questions before he addressed the crowd. With no hesitation, he makes a few moments for her, even with fans having waited hours to see him. Speaks to the person he is and I’m so thrilled to have a person of this character representing our team for the foreseeable future. Great job, Fernando!
