@AppalachianPro1@BoyerCandy Last year at Halloween on a whim I bought a @BoyerCandy variety bag of Mallo cups, Clark bars, and something else (peanut butter cups?) Opened the bag and it was ALL mallo cups, nothing else. Called cust service... they sent me... 5 small pieces of candy in the mail.
Five. π€¦ββοΈ
@SleeperHQ My favorite part of being commissioner and moving our league to sleeper this year...
...that for some reason I have to wait until after our draft to set our custom league schedule... because, you know, drafting players somehow has an impact on setting a league schedule. (???)π€‘
@Mike_Bundt They just became the smallest venue in the NFL. Your answer sounds like it could be logical from afar, but how does 10,000 less fans make the other 60,000 want to spend more...on concessions?
10k less in ticket sales, concession revenue, parking revenue, etc. Doesn't make sense.
@shagbark_hick Probably C if it includes Sault Ste. Marie and the OHL Greyhounds. If not, Cornwall is in D, then I'd pick there, and then lobby for another OHL or QMJHL team.
For fun find Akwesasne Quebec on Google maps... what a strange border situation!
@OHLHockey East, then Central, but its hard to go wrong with any of them. I love CHL jerseys and logos. OHL has some really great ones.
@OHLHockey needs to find a way to be available in the US. Ideally a deal with ESPN+, but I'd even settle for Victory.
@HelmetAddict I have this one and the Sabres Marine Midland Arena. The top comes off the Sabres arena, and I noticed one of the banners hanging in the rafters was wrong. I wrote to them, & a month later they sent me a new roof, with the banners fixed.
I wonder how much (if any) that is worth.
@TheBuffaloNews Oh good, now a national audience can figure out how arrogant and condescending @Schopptalk is.
Everyone's lovable know-it-all can berate the general sports public on how momentum isn't real and doesn't exist.
...because who doesn't love getting talked down to sarcastically? π€‘
@SabresClassics Pinnacle of Sabres sweaters were late 80's early 90's. Right sized crest, logos in the shoulder yoke. Gorgeous. 25th patch was their best.
@Berger_BYTES And it wasn't just Canadians that looked forward to HNIC, ask border cities like Buffalo. For someone who didn't have cable TV as a kid, CBC was a night of fuzzy hockey with a good set of rabbit ears. Armitage, Wittman & a young Cuthbert for the late games were my favorites.
@freetheboyyy My daughter called, crying... "Can you come get me from Africa where this account is based?"
I immediately changed my Twitter name for the 16th time since March 2026 and headed out the door....
@PierreVLeBrun@DavidDwork For a smaller city like Buffalo the #NHLdraft is a big deal.
#1, It has a big economic impact, more team execs, scouts, etc = more local hotels, restaurants busy.
#2, It was way more fun from a fans standpoint. I'd watch the tables... "oooh, that GM is talking to this team!"
@SuperBeast1239@AndrewHeaters "Manatoba" is actually spelled "Manitoba". C'mon guy, if you're gonna pretend to be an insider at least spell check your posts.
And he's referring to Winnipeg, not EP40 who is in Vancouver.
@PatrickMoranTB No way Kulich is that high, he just missed an entire year with a potential career ending issue. Would you trade for Kulich? LA Kings traded for a damaged Rick Martin whose knee was shot many moons ago and he played what, 3 games for them? That's a fire-able offense for a GM.
@RoryAhern13@BarstoolBigCat@BarstoolChief "can" hit people and fight and "willing to" hit people and fight are two completely different things... especially with Greenway.
