Going through some of my grandma and grandpas stuff as they’ve both passed, here’s some photos from 1970, 1 photo is a wool clip, which sold 6 bales for about $96 a bale, and the other is 100 lambs sold for $3.30 each. Not per kilo, a whole lamb

@darryn_browne The micron gets higher as sheep get older, easier for us to distinguish mobs when you have the same colour. Especially For shearing or if you have any cross bred lambs like we do if they get out it’s easier to pick em apart.

@LindaPenna2 We shear every 9 months, July/March/December/September, lamb end of March/April/may and never have any trouble with lambing, sheep seem to do better since having gone to this shearing 5 years ago

Going for a second pass of summer spray. This was sprayed 46 days ago, since that time we’ve had 220mm. In 2018 we didn’t receive that for the entire year. Luckily chemical prices are at an all time low 😅
