Influential theatre critics writing about how hard it is to work in the theatre industry as a working class person, the classic article they wheel out every 4 months… and then writing a glowing review for Burlesque. Theatre is always political. Embarrassing.
After debuting in Manchester & Glasgow last year, 'Burlesque' hits the West End for a short run.
Though it boasts two impressive lead performances, questionable creative choices let it down significantly in an incohesive production.

'The Merry Wives of Windsor' graces @The_Globe with camp and farce, featuring George Fouracres leading from the front in a refreshing and charismatic Sir John Falstaff.

Who Is Claude Cahun? That's the question asked in this new production at Southwark Playhouse.
A true story full of potential, though it sadly fails to capture the surrealist legend.

Sage and Jester bring an epic immersive experience to the STOREHOUSE, misinformation and the end of days.
With out of this world style, it sadly lacks in substance.

Weird that it's not mentioned at all in this piece the main reason for this is they began using lower quality materials, moved all production to east asia and now sell a worse product at a higher price. Buy Solovair if you want the proper boots.

'The Deep Blue Sea' at @TRH_London is a deeply affecting revival of the 1950s classic.
With a moving central performance from Tamsin Greig, the shock factor still stands 70 years on. Read @DanSinclair0's ⭐️⭐️⭐️ review here: https://t.co/lIEi420pql
'House of Games' at Hampstead Theatre is a comedic spin on the 1987 David Mamet noir-thriller.
Sadly, it suffers from pacing problems and few thrills in a frustrating production that doesn't reach its potential.

'Run At It Laughing' at @WiltonMusicHall is 10 rehearsed readings from @MarkRavenhill2. With scheming, witchcraft, and innuendos, it produces some charming comic performances from its rotating cast of 100 actors.

10 new comedies of the commedia angle from @MarkRavenhill2, 48 hours in @WiltonMusicHall (I’m only firming for 3 of them, hospitality jobs do not care for your free will) reviewing for @ATDazzles 🎭
The breathtaking @sohotheatre Walthamstow open their brand new venue with 'WEER' from @natdogkatdog, a messy and outrageous parody of 90’s romcoms, unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

A gorgeous night at the opening of the outrageously stunning brand new @sohotheatre Walthamstow, opening with WEER, Natalie Palamides, review to come tomorrow @ATDazzles
'Tambo & Bones' returns to @stratfordeast in a thrilling production that demands you watch, and punishes you for doing so.
Thrilling and inventive with central performances that keep you on your toes throughout.

Krapp’s Last Tape at @YorkTheatre features Gary Oldman as the banana-eating drunk.
He gives a thoughtful and delicate performance, but it often feels like a dense academic exercise - albeit an interesting one.
