Big win by @NorthWestUNISON members at the Countess of Chester to defeat privatisation proposals ✊
There should be no room for profiteering in public services
🚨BREAKING - NHS OUTSOURCING PROPOSALS DEFEATED
Huge victory as Security Officers at the Countess of Chester come together in UNISON to defeat disastrous outsourcing proposals.
🤝 Public services must be run in the public interest - not to line the pockets of profiteers

👏Care workers in Lancashire stand together against budget cuts & threats of privatisation.
🛑The Reform council voted AGAINST amendments taking privatisation & outsourcing off the table.
The mask was barely on before it slipped!
Reform in power = cuts & job losses 👎
Today young members attended our second Organising School!
Sessions were planned and facilited by own young members 💜
It was a fantastic day and it was brilliant to have both new and experienced activists attending. Our movement is growing and going from strength to strength!💪🏽

A warning that Reform councils will try to attack public services - and a demonstration that workers and communities can beat them if they stand together to oppose cuts and privatisation
📹📢 Yesterday, overseas staff working in social care and the NHS travelled to Westminster to lobby MPs over plans to restrict visa rules for care workers.
💜✊ Today, on #InternationalMigrantsDay, we recognise the migrant workers whose voices were at the heart of that lobby.
Hundreds of care workers converged on parliament to demand that MPs end a bullying, hostile visa system.
The government needs to step in and stop private firms hyper exploiting the people that prop up our public services.
💜💚
Next stop: Parliament! 🏁
Migrant care workers brace an early start in Liverpool. They are joining hundreds of UNISON members to demand an end to exploitation caused by the visa system ✊️

Lancashire care workers and residents face vicious attacks by the new Reform UK council.
Five care homes and day centres are ‘under review’.
If these vital care services close, 300 people could lose their jobs and hundreds of people may lose their homes.
No ifs, no buts. Myself and the entire @prestonlabour Group stand shoulder to shoulder with Unison members including supporting any industrial action that challenges the vicious attacks by the Reform led LCC on Lancashire care workers and residents.
