I remember when his wife and mother tried to publicly destroy him.

I remember when he gave a "fuck you" to the industry by bringing Elton John onstage for a performance (he was facing allegations of being an evil homophobe).
I remember black rappers being jealous that a white guy was better than them, and it took years to get his props.

This is a guy that fought censorship and political correctness his entire career! Now he's taking the side of the same faction that tried to destroy him in the late '90s and early 2000s...

This is why celebs need to just stay out of politics and do what they do best: entertain.

Europeans didn't have the military strength to threaten African kingdoms with 'extinction' until the Scramble for Africa in the late 1800s. The slave trade happened centuries before that. African monarchs entered the trade willingly to acquire
