@KentraHagatra To me it’s pretty simple. The defender initiated the contact causing Flo to be off balance. The ref was looking directly at the play didn’t call it. This was not a clear and obvious error. This was VAR overruling a subjective call from a ref which is not the point of the system.
@MaxBretosSports For the players absolutely. Their focus should be one game at a time. Fans can dream. Dreams don’t always come true and that’s okay. Dream big and enjoy the ride while it lasts. Soccer is at the center of our sports culture for another 3 weeks. This is amazing.
@najoe2019 @MLSMoves You have a team and avg 2,000 fans a game. Vancouver avgerages 20k+. Hell Sac republic averages 10k+. They support a team unlike Vegas.
.@JamesTalarico to Joe Rogan: My principal told me I was going to teach this kid named Justin, who had brought a knife to school. I told him I wanted to get to know him. We started to build a rapport. Right before winter break, he brought me this gift — a snowflake that he had bought at the Dollar Tree for his teacher.
I came back after winter break and heard this commotion. There were two of our coaches restraining Justin. That was the last time I ever saw him. Justin had been seeing a therapist provided by the school district, but because of budget cuts, the district had eliminated the therapist.
Adults he was trying to trust were abandoning him. That was the radicalizing experience for me. People at the state capitol had cut $5 billion from our schools. I promised myself that if I ever got power I would do everything I could to stop that. Justin and my students are the criteria I use to evaluate public policy.
@SBJ@InsideTexas This is the Tom Brady effect. Brady could take a cut because at the time he was the only guy in the NFL that wasn’t the bread winner. Arch is in a spot where he doesn’t need the money as well. Good for him.
@NoleLoans Do these Jabronis really think that losing to OSU is why they’re being left out?
It’s the loss to Florida, arguably the worst Florida team in recent memory.
@GrahamCoffeyDC At a certain point people will realize the committee just does whatever they want. There are no agreed upon rules for evaluation. ‘23 is a prime example. They invented a new data point. Penalizing teams for an injury to one player even though they kept finding ways to win.
