@GuyTalksFinance I think Warren knows buying the sp500 at historically insane PE ratios leads to under performance. Sitting on your hands waiting for a good pitch amounts to 98% of the job, and can take years. He’ll but when there’s blood in the streets.
@This_Is_VP4X Nike is probably pretty well poised to take advantages of the AI/robotics boom, which would be even cheaper than sweat shop labor. Nike has a huge following of sneaker lovers that aren’t going anywhere. I think it’s a safe buy here.
@shaunmmaguire The last 25yrs of media taught us to hate the hero and love the anti hero. Which creates a toddler level sense of morality that then gets imposed onto everything.
Pair that with the us abusing the world w the petrodollar and 50yrs of interventionist foreign policy- voila.
@TheMilkBarTV@ConceptualJames That’s what’s actually happening. It’d be like watching both a communist and a capitalist say that it’s raining outside when it’s actually raining outside.
@jameslavish Wouldn’t B2G businesses benefit first too since the Fed creates money by buying federal debt? So really govt contractors/employees are first in line for the cantillon effect?
@zerohedge You don’t think any of it has to do with central banks buying gold at record levels to help protect a potential mass US dollar debasement? Similar to ‘71 and ‘33, with us debt and global usd cbdc demand.
