On the rare occasions Muslim women are allowed to leave their fundamentalist homes, they are forced to interact with the world through a veil of isolation - even expected to hide their voices from “strange” men.

And yet, many in the West insist the niqab and hijab are apparently “empowering”.

After 11 years as a sports columnist at the Seattle Times, I have decided to resign. It was entirely my choice, and it was not an easy one. The impetus was the Times declining to run a column I wrote from the perspective of two female student athletes who were opposed to competing against biological males. Islam just tightened its grip on another key position inside Dearborn Public Schools.

This isn’t isolated.

It’s the latest move in a complete takeover of every aspect of life in Dearborn and the blueprint for the rest of the country.

Look at the facts:

Dearborn Public Schools serves ONLY certified halal meat in every cafeteria, district-wide.

Started limited options around 2001–2003. Switched to 100% halal for all schools by ~2019.
Official policy. Certificates public.

Every student - Muslim or not - eats meat slaughtered according to Islamic ritual. Free meals under federal funding. Vegetarian options exist, but the default is pure sharia-compliant.

During Ramadan 2026, O.L. Smith Middle School accidentally served non-halal (pork/beef mix) pepperoni pizza to over 200 students for days.

The district apologized, called it “human error,” audited the supply chain, and immediately added a second halal-certified vendor to make sure it never happens again.

Taxpayer-funded Iftar sack meals sent home so fasting students can break their fast after sunset.

Arabic programs, Eid scheduling, prayer accommodations all normalized.

Now leadership: Sister Abeer Thabet steps in as Assistant Principal at Woodworth.

Combined with a Muslim superintendent and a board that reflects the same demographic dominance, the institutions are fully captured.

This is Islam’s plan:

Control the food, control the calendar, control the schools, control the children. Control America.....

Non-Muslim kids are not just “accommodated” - they are immersed daily in Islamic practice and targeted for normalization and conversion through the system itself.

Dearborn is the pilot program.

What is happening here is what they intend for every American city. This has to be stopped.

One reason many professions of faith eventually collapse is that the sinner was hurried toward assurance before he ever understood what he needed to be saved from. Christ was presented as an addition to life, but sin was never exposed as rebellion against a holy God.

Jesus did not preach repentance as an optional second stage of Christianity. He said, “Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). Paul described his ministry as declaring that men “should repent and turn to God, performing deeds appropriate to repentance” (Acts 26:20).

But we must be careful here. True repentance is not measured by how many tears someone sheds or how emotionally shattered he appears. Some consciences are awakened suddenly, others gradually. The issue is whether sin has become something we excuse and protect, or something we confess and turn from because we have seen its evil before God.

Paul distinguishes “the sorrow that is according to the will of God” from mere regret over consequences, because godly sorrow “produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation” (2 Corinthians 7:10).

This also explains much apparent apostasy. John says of those who finally abandoned Christ, “They went out from us, but they were not really of us” (1 John 2:19). Their departure did not undo regeneration. It exposed a profession that never possessed the root of spiritual life.

A true believer can fall badly. David did. Peter did. But God does not leave His children comfortable in their rebellion. He disciplines, convicts, restores, and brings them again to repentance.

The gospel does not merely make sinners feel better about themselves. It brings us to the end of ourselves, shows us the horror of sin, and then shows us a Saviour infinitely greater than our guilt.

This picture in the Old Testament blew my mind when I was newly Christian!

The bronze serpent is one of the strangest cures in the Bible, and Jesus said it was about Him.

In Numbers 21, Israel is dying of snakebites in the desert. 

God’s remedy makes no logical sense: 

Moses lifts a bronze serpent on a pole, and “if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.” Numbers 21:9.

Not work for it. Not earn it. Not climb. Just LOOK.

The very image of the curse, a serpent, lifted up, becomes the cure.

Then Jesus, to a Pharisee at night: “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of
Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life.” John 3:14-15.

On the cross, Jesus became the curse. “God made Him to be sin who knew no sin.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.

The curse, lifted up, became the cure.

The dying Israelites had one job: look and live.

Islam gave me a thousand things to DO to survive God’s judgment.

Jesus said: you’re already bitten, already dying. Stop striving. Just look at Me.

“Look to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 45:22.
