We’re putting up fences along the Nant Dinam to allow natural regeneration of trees and restore vital habitat for fish. We’re also installing drinking bays & water gates where fencing will prevent livestock from reaching the river (1/2)

The bass is such a beautiful fish- this fellow held close to camera 🙄 was caught on live float fished prawn from the shore. They sit in eddys and wait for the feast to arrive , lazy buggers. @bassangleruk

This week our Restoring River Habitat team are repairing an eel pass on the River Clywedog. The European eel is an amazing & enigmatic species that hatches somewhere out in the Sargasso Sea, yet finds its way to our rivers to grow to adulthood (1/3)
