Breaking— San Joaquin County’s largest school district, @StocktonUnified is canceling classes Monday as rain is expected to bring flooding risks. District officials tell me they’ll decide tomorrow on whether to cancel classes Tuesday as well.

As a Councilmember, providing housing for homeless and unhoused US military veterans has been my priority. Today my colleagues and I inaugurated Victory Garden, a new entity that aims to reach our goal of ending veterans homelessness by the year 2025.
