Reflecting on #SMDM19 last week - great panel with multiple stakeholders’ perspectives on value about cardiovascular procedures. Big theme: all people - even CFOs - care! Lots of opportunity and synergy for patient-centered care.
Big problem: misalignment of attention, focus, and allocation of research and implementation dollars with public health impact. Unfortunate that, still today, prevention and addressing root causes cannot get the attention that downstream 'rescue' approaches do @impsci@re_aim
Excited to share I DECIDE: LVAD's work at the Society for Transplant Social Workers conference exhibitors' hall. We've already had several attendees sign up to receive free decision aid packets to share with their patients! #stsw
