Socialtjänstarbetare måste sluta fantisera om att massera gängkriminellas mammor. Som tidigare socialpolitiker har jag allt för ofta mött en verklighetsfrånvänd syn på hur samhället ska stoppa tonåringar från att mörda andra tonåringar.

Runt om i Sverige står socialtjänsten i främsta ledet för att hjälpa utsatta barn från att fastna i ett liv av kriminalitet och otrygghet. För att stötta detta viktiga arbete har Liberalerna varit drivande för att bland annat få igenom en ny socialtjänstlag, en ny socionomutbildning och en stärkt beroendevård.

Det är både ett samhällsmisslyckande när barn skjuter och när vi fortsatt tror att saft och bullar – eller, som i Gävle, massage och restaurangbesök –kommer bryta nyrekryteringen.

Nu krävs stenhårt arbete från alla oss som kan bidra till att knäcka gängen. Modernt förebyggande arbete, inte gammalt dalt.

To be clear: this entire thing went off the rails because Zelensky made the catastrophically offensive move of pointing out the reality that Putin broke a ceasefire in 2015 and that when Vance talks about diplomacy, he can’t explain how Putin is a trustworthy partner.

Zelensky simply spoke the truth, which Vance deemed totally unacceptable and offensive because he was trying to “litigate” the issue in front of the press.

And then it unraveled from there. Just wild.

Ukraina och resten av Europa kan inte räkna med USA. Viktigt att agera kraftfullt för att ta igen förlorad tid och trygga vår säkerhet.
Mer vapen till Ukraina och större satsningar på europeiskt försvar. Dessutom är det nu dags att slopa vetorätten för effektivare EU-beslut.
