Our 10th grade students in history class were assigned different revolutionaries from around the globe who brought along change in the 17th and 18th centuries. They had to make protest signs, chants, and wrote a speech, read aloud to their classmates in masks. @iaecspumas
Ms. Danayan’s Economics students every other Monday scope out business related news for current events. They choose 5 stories then provide 4 pieces of info on each, the most entertaining being their opinion! After months of doing this, they have come a long way! It’s incredible.

Rainy day schedule, students were in the classroom for nutrition break. What did my 7th grade social studies class do? Many of them played hot potato. It was great to hear them laugh and have a good time.
Students in Ms. Danayan’s 6th grade Economics class today had to choose one of the many interesting topics and write a persuasive speech on it! Next week, they will read their speech to their classmates.
The 10th graders studied Hammurabi’s Law Codes, then they prepared mini posters digitally and included 10 laws they created in the same style as Hammurabi’s laws without any of the violence prevalent at the time. So much fun! 3 samples below. No eye for an eye here @iaecspumas
On Friday, my 10th Grade History Class learned about the birthplace of democracy, Athens. After learning basic facts & looking at numbers, the class was divided into two groups. They then debated for or against the topic, Athens WAS or WAS NOT a democracy.
