@MrMicPowers@AmYisraelChaiNY @AssembleXNY Right, but then that same district voted suozzi. Granted he l’s a household name on Long Island and ran against a weak candidate. Then the district was expanded, including Huntington etc. and he won again
@MrMicPowers@AmYisraelChaiNY @AssembleXNY I’m a no party affiliated voter and the majority of us vote left. Or at least in these times and yes Long Island is very split. In these 2920 general election, Nassau went blue while Suffolk went red by a hair. 2 house seats flipped as well
@MrMicPowers@AmYisraelChaiNY @AssembleXNY It isn’t “just NYC” a lot of those pink swing counties, particularly Long Island with over a million voters are practically 50/50. With that, the heavy NYC & Hudson Valley Blue. NY is a very blue state.
@BuenoForMiami It is only restricted to civilians who aren’t scientists or students. South Pole station is actually pretty impressive. I actually received a post card from there a long time ago from a family member, who is a meteorology professor.
@Miranda164065@Tennesseine I happen to agree with you 100%. I grew up in the 90s. Nobody knew or cared about which states were red or blue. At least in my eyes. I’d love to go back to that.
