Urbanisation requires difficult sacrifices, often affecting the less privileged most. Though painful, some tough decisions are necessary to build a safer, more organised and sustainable city. Well done, @EngrBababe, for taking the bull by the horns.

VIDEO: When conflict destroys infrastructure, it also damages hope and dignity. Governor Zulum is fighting on two fronts, confronting insurgency while rebuilding what it destroyed. Borno is rebuilding its infrastructure, its peopleโs confidence, and their future @EngrBababe

They told you subsidy is gone.
They said they said they are making a lot of money. When you ask where is the money, they say ask your governors. Your governors said that is not true. Meanwhile, they are borrowing away your destinies. Yet they still can't pay local contractors.
Where are the gains from subsidy removal and floating of the naira?

So there is this guy I have noticed on Facebook whose posts are almost entirely obituary announcements. Every scroll is one Innalillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiโun after another.
I genuinely wonder what his motive is, but I find it really traumatising. And honestly, not just for me, but for him too.
Because why would your identity and trademark on facebook be conveying sad news?
@DanBorno There is another plaza opposite the orphanage house beside bolori round about that is yet to be completed.
What @ProfZulum@BornoGovt can do is to give incentives to them. Tax Weaver for some years or soft loan for those that have started but couldn't complete.
@DanBorno@EngrBababe Government alone cannot solve all the deficit. Private investment is very much needed. Our rich people need to step up. Imagine building a plaza and not opening it for years alone polo Road opposition NEDC.
And yes the demand is real. I know of people that also requested
Dear @EngrBababe, a large number of residents in the town are interested in the few shops (fewer than 20) built by your Ministry. If these requests are confirmed to be genuine, kindly advise the government to construct more of such shops around the town.
This is deeply disturbing and must not be ignored. The killing of a political commentator, regardless of his views or affiliations, deserves a transparent and thorough investigation.
Naval officer, driver arrested with 248 moulds of suspected cannabis in Rivers
By Zagazola Makama
Operatives of the Safer Highway Patrol have arrested a Lieutenant serving with the Nigerian Navy, NNS Ogun, alongside a 51-year-old driver, Felix Dickson, over the alleged transportation of illicit drugs along the East-West Road in Rivers State.
Military sources told Zagazola Makama that the suspects were intercepted while conveying five large โGhana-Must-Goโ bags containing 248 moulds of suspected cannabis sativa, popularly known as โScottish Loud.โ
Dickson, a native of Owhe Community in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, was reportedly driving the vehicle from Lagos to Port Harcourt when the patrol team intercepted it.
According to a Situation Report, preliminary questioning indicated that Dickson allegedly told investigators that he was contracted by the naval officer to drive the vehicle and deliver the consignment to its intended destination in Port Harcourt.
The two suspects and the recovered exhibits have been taken into custody, while further investigation is ongoing to establish the source of the consignment and identify other persons who may be connected to the alleged drug trafficking network.
The development highlights continued efforts by security agencies to disrupt the movement of illicit substances and other criminal activities along major highways in the country.
Comments by the Defence Minister strike as deeply misplaced, especially given his recent departure from the countryโs most distinguished elite force, widely regarded as the sole body truly binding Nigeria together.
Today, I celebrate not just your service, but the humble, grounded leader you remain. May Almighty God bless you with long life, health, divine wisdom, & strength to lead Nigeria toward peace and prosperity. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency! @DanBorno@officialSKSM
