I have received with huge pains the tragic loss of five children from the same family in the fatal accident involving a tricycle and a water tanker in Jakadafari, Gombe State.
The loss of five young lives, each with dreams, aspirations and a promising future, is a heartbreaking tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with the Malam Mansir Adamu family as they grapple with this unimaginable pain. I can only imagine the depth of their grief at losing five beloved children in one devastating incident.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved parents, their relatives, the management and staff of the affected schools, their classmates and the entire Jekadafari community. I also pray for the speedy recovery of the other children injured in the accident.
May Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the departed children, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus and give their parents and the entire family the strength, patience and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May Almighty Allah comfort the bereaved family, and protect our children and all road users from harm. Ameen.

SHEIKH BALALAU CALLS FOR ARREST, INVESTIGATION OF MAN IN JIBWIS FIRST AID UNIFORM OVER VIRAL VIDEO THREATENING ATTACK ON Enugu ON SUNDAY!
By Ibrahim Shehu Giwa.
The National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, has strongly condemned a viral video showing a man dressed in the uniform of the organisation’s First Aid Group, participating in a jogging exercise and chanting provocative statements calling for AK-47 rifles to be given to them to enable them to travel to Enugu on Sunday and carry out an attack.
Reacting to the disturbing development, Sheikh Bala Lau called on the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant security agencies to immediately investigate the incident, identify those responsible and ensure that anyone found culpable is brought to justice in accordance with the law.
The National Chairman categorically dissociated JIBWIS from the inflammatory statements, stressing that such expressions of violence, intimidation and threats against any community are completely alien to the principles, teachings and objectives upon which the organisation was established.
He emphasised that wearing the uniform of the JIBWIS First Aid Group or appearing among its members does not automatically establish that an individual is acting on behalf of the organisation or with its authorisation.
Sheikh Bala Lau further expressed concern that the incident could represent a deliberate attempt by individuals or external interests to misrepresent the organisation and damage its longstanding reputation. He therefore urged security agencies to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the video, including the identity, affiliation and possible motives of those involved.
The Chairman recalled that JIBWIS recently organised an international conference in Abuja, bringing together Christian leaders, Muslim scholars from different Islamic schools of thought, prominent personalities and participants from different parts of the world, with the central objective of promoting interfaith dialogue, mutual understanding, religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
He questioned how an organisation that has consistently invested its resources, leadership and institutional efforts in building bridges across religious and ethnic divides could reasonably be associated with statements advocating violence against fellow Nigerians.
For approximately 48 years since its establishment, JIBWIS has remained committed to the propagation of authentic Islamic teachings, the promotion of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), moral reformation, education, humanitarian services and the peaceful coexistence of people irrespective of their religious, ethnic or geographical backgrounds.

Dear @jibwis_Nigerian, I would like to draw your attention to this video involving one of your Agaji members. Some of the statements made are concerning. I believe the leadership should look into it, as we all have a responsibility to promote peace and peaceful coexistence.
Dear @jibwis_Nigerian,
I don't know which section, but there is a dangerous video circulating of one of your Agaji members leading a morale song, making inciteful statements that I believe has no place in Islam. This is condemnable & should not be allowed to go unpunished. It goes against every term of peaceful co-existence in a country like ours. And there is no where this is taught in Islam.

Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raaji'un!
We have lost one of our all-time mentors and respected teachers, Shaykh Saidu Imam (The Chief Imam of Shagon Goro Jumu'ah Masjid, Gombe). Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, especially Dr Abubakar Saidu Imam, his relatives, his students, friends, neighbours and associates.
The late Shaykh Saidu Imam was an icon of unity, peace and humility. He was highly knowledgeable, very jovial, extraordinarily humble and highly responsible.
Around three weeks ago, we visited him alongside Alhaji Hussaini Ahmad Ganga (Dan Amar of Gombe), Alhaji Usman Gurama, and Dr. Abubakar Saidu (Dr. Yagi) to sympathize with him over his illness. He was very excited with the visit and he prayed for us as well.
We will greatly miss his golden voice in delivering the Jumu'ah Khutbah and his weekly reminders, particularly about the Day of Judgement.
The eyes shed tears and the heart is saddened, but we say nothing except that which pleases our Lord. Indeed, Shaykh Saidu Imam, we are bereaved by your departure.
May Allah admit him into Jannatul Firdaus together with our departed parents and loved ones, and give the entire family and our society the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Sai mun iso in sha Allah.
