“Come sit at the campfire”. Today the young learners made a campfire using loose parts. “We need fire”., the young learners then got some paper, pens, sellotape and scissors to add flames to their 🔥 campfire. Showing us their creativity and imagination skills.
Thank you to the NHS for lending us the glitter bug to see the germs on our hands and help us understand the importance of hand washing. We enjoyed our walk to the doctors surgery to collect the equipment.
We started our transition into primary one this week.we have visited the P1 class rooms, played outside in the big playground at playtime and listened to a story from Mrs Blair.
The children wanted a stage in the nursery garden , so with some great teamwork a stage is what we created. We have had some great singing and dancing so far.
Great imagination this week and the use of loose parts. Some tyres were transformed into a house. Then blocks, wooden planks, buckets and crates were transformed in a superhero’s house. “ we have a ball to play football and cake tin in case we need cakes”.
These young learners were discussing what the big tower was beside our nursery ,“ I think it sends electricity to our houses”l They decided to make their own “power force” using loose parts, the team work was fantastic.⚡️👍
Was great having our snack outdoors yesterday. The young learners chose to spend most of the days outdoors mark making in pink shaving foam, drawing our favourite superhero’s and exploring in the sand and water trays. #outdoorplay#outdoorlearning
