Last week, two of our U14 players visited Poland as part of the Premier League programme: Football Remembers the Holocaust.

The three day trip concluded the PL programme which included five sessions where our U14s learnt about pre-war Jewish life, the Holocaust and Football.

They visited both Auschwitz and Bikenau concentration camps during the trip furthering their learning and paying tribute from Burnley Football Club.

In May 1942 she was murdered in #Auschwitz.

7 May 1938 | A Belgian Jewish girl, Stella Esther, Radomysler was born in Antwerp.

She arrived in #Auschwitz on 13 September 1942 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy. After the selection she was murdered in a gas chamber.

7 May 1937 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Michael Willem Kober, was born in Nijmegen.

In January 1944 he was transported from #Westerbork to #Theresienstadt ghetto and on 19 October 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz. On 20 October he was murdered in a gas chamber.
