20 years ago @Roblox opened the playing field to allow games to be created by anyone. With no degree and no formal training, a 13 year old could have millions of people playing their game.

With the recent advancements in AI, this field has been levelled once more.

However, there is one thing that has always remained; the feeling of a game that was made by people who loved the game.

Gameplay that _feels_, gameplay that comes from someone’s desire to make something come alive.

If you think about the games you’ve most enjoyed playing; how many of them are corporate slop? Compare that to how many of them were inspired by a person who loved what they were doing?

Given the same tools, the same team, the same starting point; a person who loves a game will make something far more memorable than someone who just cares about money.

AI is a tool, what we do with that tool is up to us.

All the one-prompt tech demos are really cool and technically impressive, but they have no depth beyond a collection of systems that are proven to work together.

Let us build the next generation of games that people remember with fondness and joy. People don’t remember a game because they spent $10, they remember a game that made them feel… Wonder, joy, sadness, love, the feeling of a journey completed with friends.

Let us make the games that people love.
