@MikeDowns4 We don’t have cap or assets to address every problem. It comes down to is the price right and are they part of a long term solution. Need a revamped D core and an abundance of top 6. At least 4 players to be competitive.

@BruinsWyan2 I’d say they had 5 real shots. The beauty of a hof core is you should have a chance whenever you make playoffs. 2011 was an exception year. We gave the core tons of help and tons of winning rosters year after year. They retired we rebuild.

@BruinsWyan2 26 take a bottom 5 roster with minimal prospects and make the playoffs. Go 1-1 in series coming home and the team lays 2 eggs.
27 have basically everyone under contract with hagens and potentially Dean/poitras coming up and assets to make moves.
