There is a lot of understandable frustration in the community right now about long-delayed ships and backer trust in Star Citizen. As a legacy backer from the early Kickstarter days who knows players who have dropped $60k or more into the project, I want to share a more grounded take on where we actually stand.

Trust is a two-way street in game development, especially at this scale.

You know when I will be satisfied, and I mean when #StarCitizen will feel complete?

When I get back to my base, land my vessel in my hangar, walk in to my living quarters, press a button on my mobiglass and see a door open. Condensation clouds escape when my personal arsenal of weapons, tools and gear appears behind that door. I take of my space suit that will appear in a suit locker or on a mannequin, slip in my clothes and with a press of the button the door closes.

I walk to my kitchen area and decide if I want a koffie or a whiskey. Poor a coffee and sit on the couch and look outside through a window.

A button is pressed and a screen comes down and I select "market data" And see what I can do tomorrow, mining? or Crafting? Or even salvage. Maybe try bounty hunting.

I sigh, i'm happy. #StarCitizenLife

Our crew on the @Space_Station caught a glimpse of the @NASAArtemis II crew as they re-entered the atmosphere from their journey to the Moon! We first saw a bright light and a trail as the service module burned up. We didn’t see the Orion capsule itself as it re-entered, but we saw the wispy trail it left behind in the upper atmosphere. Overjoyed that our friends are safely back on Earth after their awe-inspiring mission!
