Thank you to Kelly & Dr. Jorgenson for inviting me to attend Prairie Ridge’s ribbon cutting & addition showcase in Mason City.
The tribute honoring the lives lost to substance use was a powerful reminder of the importance of access to support, treatment & a path toward recovery.
@TPAction
A couple I door knocked moved to Iowa from New York.
🔥Their message to Iowans is simple: don't take what you have here for granted.
They want Iowans to understand how quickly your livlihood will change when socialist policies take hold.
Summer is wrapping up, so I made one more stop for another haul of fresh Iowa sweet corn!
There’s something special about buying it from the people who grow it and supporting the hardworking families who grow the food we enjoy.
It doesn’t get much more Iowa than that!
I am so grateful to Speaker Pat Grassley and Representative Carter Nordman for joining us for such a wonderful evening. Thank you both for your support and for making the event so special!
🇺🇸Tomorrow is the day!🇺🇸
Join me, welcoming Pat Grassley, Speaker of the Iowa House to Clear Lake on Monday at 5:00!
📍The Lakeview Room — 10 N Lakeview Drive (behind the bandshell and across from the seawall)
Josh Turek skipped half his votes in the Iowa legislature this year.
Everyone knows if you skip work, you don’t get a promotion — you get fired.
Iowans deserve a Senator who will show up and fight for them. That’s exactly what I’ll do.
A great day in Manly for the Railroad Ag Days Parade!
Today marked the final parade of the season in our district!
A special thank u to friends, supporters & volunteers who walked alongside & supported my candidacy. I couldn’t have done parade season without you!
After spending time helping Iowans with voter registration at the Iowa State Fair, I made my way over to the Iowa Pork Tent🐷, where I received a warm welcome and a little taste of Iowa tradition as a potential newcomer to the legislature!
Day ✋ of the Iowa State Fair
Got to host a meet & greet for @ZachLahn
Saw the future IA-04 congressman on the soapbox
Switched voters from Rob Sand to Zach Lahn
Each day makes it harder not to love the Iowa State Fair 🌽 🎡🎢🎟️
BELLE PLAINE, Iowa — Iowa Republican gubernatorial candidate Zach Lahn just put it bluntly on Twitter. If he becomes Iowa’s next governor, Flock cameras are gone.
When asked directly whether he would abolish the network of automated license plate readers that have quietly blanketed roads across the state, the sixth-generation Iowan answered with a single, unambiguous “Yes.”

The stance cuts against the quiet expansions that have already put these devices in dozens of Iowa communities, logging every plate that rolls past and feeding the data into a system that can be searched by agencies far beyond local police.
Lahn’s position treats the technology for what it is, which is a permanently active tracking grid that records where ordinary people drive, when they leave home, and who they visit, without the need for a warrant or meaningful public debate.
These cameras have drawn fire for good reason. They turn public roads into permanent surveillance zones, and the data they collect does not stay neatly local.
Critics point out that the same systems have been used in ways that raise serious privacy and civil-liberty concerns, yet the push to install more of them continues in many places.
Notably, Flock cameras are not present in many Jewish areas of New York, a fact that stands in contrast to their rapid spread elsewhere.
Lahn’s promise to ban them in Iowa offers a big change, which is to protect the ability of regular people to move around without being tracked by a private company and its government partners.

During a routine C-section, doctors witnessed something incredibly rare.
The baby emerged still enclosed inside the amniotic sac, this moment is so uncommon that many medical professionals never see it in their careers. It is mesmerizing!
