@alloutevelynn It's forced engagement. The story has been falling apart since late 5.x and 6.x was not giving them the engagement they wanted. Genshin's dev team has had a horrible track record with keeping up with other games even their own company publishes, so it's not surprising to see this

@HikaruTatsuo @m0onliightz My guy have you PLAYED the last 3 major region updates? Every single new character released since Natlan required characters dropped from that same region. All of these updates brought in new "mechanics" that were unique to these regions too like movement and damage modifiers.
