@siddharthwv The key is to not quit. Adjust along the way based on data and feedback but keep walking through the mud, this phase exists exactly to separate winners from quitters.
@shirshakchavan Very true, we're all humans at the end of the day. There's better days and worse days, key is to try not to get too frustrated on bad days and not to get cocky on better days which would bring you to a stable state on average days (which weigh up the most). Hard but needed.
I worked with a founder with a business paying for his bills but not the business he wanted to run. What do you do in this case?
They couldn't drop the cash flow, no other source of income. Can't explore new ventures when they're buried in the current one and trying to survive at the same time.
The secret is sequencing and this is what I've recommended. What gets phased out, in what order, who do we approach next and how, with one massive caveat. Protecting cash flow in a way that you can still survive but also transition to the new business model.
@brycerambach I realised by talking to founders that building became more accesible but business growth still isnβt that straightforward, so Iβve launched https://t.co/UyjwaSatba working with founder led businesses to define the next stage of growth and implement it together.
Founders in 2026 build using Claude and Cursor but they're skipping over one important aspect, is anyone actually willing to pay for what they're building?
You can spend millions on paid ads and marketing but they'll go down the drain if nobody is actually willing to pay for whatever you're giving away. To distribute, you need someone to actually pay for your product first.
Talk to people you're interested in selling to, not just random clients. Read what they have to say online, find out about their issues, understand where to find them, when they use certain apps, what they waste time on, what costs them money, where the bottleneck is. You just have to validate everything through the right conversations and most importantly, with the right people.
@shirshakchavan Honestly it's just that phase when you're in the mud and just have to keep walking. It's super mundane and that's why it's there, to separate winners from quitters.
