I applaud Senator Sanders for his tenacious leadership and delivering so much on what we campaigned for in 2020. The key now is to not dilute this bill in any way, prioritize climate, and pay for it by taxing the ultra-rich and big corporations.
The 25 richest Americans have consistently paid little to no federal income taxes. 55 of the most profitable companies in America paid zero federal income taxes last year.
The idea that corporations and the rich pay too much in taxes is ludicrous.
