@GloryDays1996 Great to give NPL talent a shot, but this feels like $150k left in the budget spent on cheap 1-year deals instead of experience, excitement and bums-on-seats signings. Hope I’m eating my words by season’s end. If we’re bottom in Jan, accountability is needed.
@TheWestSport As a Perth Glory fan, these things don’t surprise you anymore. You become accustomed to the poor decisions, the lack of transparency, the statements that show little respect for loyalists, and the constant disappointment.
That’s the saddest part. It becomes normal.

@ScubaStv@PerthGloryFC I would have held off on making payments after Tuesday's game, with that performance, but I guess it's a reflection of the level of professionalism currently being shown by the club top to bottom
@GloryDays1996 Sunday league played at 0.5 speed. No excuses not to line up quality competitive fixtures and get the squad match fit. Otherwise, will we be hearing the same excuses that we didn't have enough competitive games and aren't fit? Another season... let's hope it's a different story.
@GloryDays1996 I have the script ready for the players and coaches:
"We've had a tough start with travel, limited home games and injuries, but that's football. The second half gives us more home games to build momentum, improve results and head into the finals in strong form."
@suitedbootedtv As a Glory fan and a fan of your pod, this has to be up there as an all-time content creation masterclass. Elite stuff. Proper top-tier admin work 👏🔥
@aleaguemen Year on year the game has lost money crowds have dropped and the salary cap keeps tightening. Now this deal, basically the same as the current one, is somehow meant to be good for the league and lead to profits and more engagement? Either that, or there was nothing better offered
@Coles Group seriously need to sort out your delivery partners. Driver arrived with 5 EMPTY Coles bags because apparently “pick up 5 bags” meant literally just the bags, while our actual order was delivered to the wrong address. Absolute shambles. This is not customer service.
@Farpostperth Despotovski isn’t a winger. Neither is Tevere. So why stick with the same shape? Taggart needs confidence and we’re out of it. We make changes 5 mins after halftime every game. Why wait to react? Go front foot. Two goals down, zero confidence = uphill battle.
@Farpostperth The game is about moments. When Burgess is winning every second ball and you still stick with two 6s, you’re chasing shadows. Two goals down and you make an adjustment where he needs to defend. It too late
Hunger. Confidence. Execution.
One team had it. It wasn't Glory
@GloryDays1996 Outcoached. Outplayed.
That was the difference. One side knew exactly who they are and executed with purpose. The other looked like they’re still searching for an identity.
That’s the gap between a winning culture and a team chasing consistency.
@JS199101@GloryDays1996@marcothejourno Rhys is a dynamic central midfielder, combining strong defensive awareness with quick ball progression. He reads the game well, presses with intent, and links defence to attack with maturity beyond his years.
@GloryDays1996 Oli Sail’s injury flipped the momentum. Crowd lifted, players lifted, and we capitalised to win it at the death. Subs changed the game. Great win, but we need more of this for the rest of the season, same intensity, every week.
