There has been really no significant *demonstration* of this importance. We want to *demonstrate* rather than assume its importance.

@ReadingnReaders @John_JR_Lee @LexhamPress Thank you, Terence, for the review. Sorry for the disappointment in not going more in-depth on the ransom view of atonement, but, as we argue in chapter 4, a literal identification of all the parties in such a transaction misses the point of the metaphor.

Lots of folks responding with anger at this decision outside of the SBC. I’m not part of the SBC (my PhD is from an SBC school). I think it may be wise to refrain from speaking on if this is “right or wrong” unless you are speaking of the context this discussion is located in.
