@IziDuffy Eventually, she was always allowed to stay. I’ve done it a couple times, and usually threatening to call the police, or actually calling the police and being ready to wait awhile works.

@IziDuffy For what it’s worth, it’s actually illegal for a hotel to refuse you to stay there, even if they haven’t registered foreigners in the past. There was a foreigner who worked with Ctrip who used to post long videos of her saying it was illegal, calling the police, etc etc.

@AirCanada Hi Liz- the first announcement of our baggage being delayed took 2 hours. After we waited another 2 hours we left the airport and are now trying to fill out your online form. There was one person to help all the passengers, shocking.
