One of the habits that separates DAWGs from the pack is their willingness to do the extra when no one is watching. Here, another DAWG is putting in the work on the beach, building speed, agility, and mental toughness in the sand. #DoTheExtra#DAWGMentality#DisciplineAndGrit
Shoutout to the dozen PV Sharks—quarterbacks, receivers, and defensive backs—showing a true commitment to doing the extra work. Not just chasing individual improvement, but pushing one another every rep and raising the standard across the board. Iron sharpens iron.
What stands out isn’t just the effort—it’s the unity. Teammates competing without ego, supporting without hesitation, and building chemistry instead of guarding positions. That’s how you grow as players, and that’s how you become a TEAM—Together Everyone Achieves More.
Congratulations to the TEAM on a job well done as they completed their second day of one-rep max PR testing in the bench press and clean.
They will now return to the weight room to build upon their accomplishments and look to improve their scores when one-rep max testing returns in June.
With continued discipline, grit, patience, and teamwork, we expect this TEAM to become one of our strongest in totality. 💪🐾
This week, the coaching staff recognized the February DAWGs of the Month; athletes who have consistently demonstrated and fully embraced the DAWG Pillars of Success. This standard is designed not only to develop better football players, but also stronger teammates, responsible classmates, and leaders within the community.
Each DAWG will wear their DAWG shirt every Monday to help set the tone for the week and serve as a role model for teammates who are working toward earning DAWG status themselves. The ultimate goal is to have as many players as possible earn DAWG status before the start of fall camp.
The following players were recognized: Sam Racki, Nick Walko, Brayden Holmes, Brennon This, Carter Ottesen, Zac Potter, Bennett Zimmer, Ryan McGill, Camden Maddox, and Daniel Dittus.
These athletes set the standard through their discipline, commitment, and grit. Their daily actions—often during the unseen hours—reflect what it truly means to be a DAWG. Keep pushing, stay consistent, and continue raising the bar for yourselves and your teammates.
DAWGs help establish and uphold the team’s standards.
