@lalshareef @Naila_Ayad Israeli here.I just want to correct a mistake, בית המקדש means "house of holiness" and or "house where you holy something"(it's kinda difficult to translate to English).In Arabic the words for house and the root of "holy" are similar.I think bayt al makdas is a direct translation

@UlhaqEhteram @CommunityNote_s hebrew was passed down from generation to generation. jews even sometimes wrote in hebrew, however the language wasn't really developing as it wasn't used freely for speech. as a result, modern hebrew borrows a lot of words from arabic for concepts that didn't exist in hebrew.
