What FIBERMAXXING is not:
choking down 50 grams tomorrow
buying 6 powders
turning every meal into a science project
If breakfast needs a spreadsheet, you’ve already lost the plot.
DAY 1.
Fibermaxxing sounds like a gym bro invented breakfast.
It’s not.
It’s people realizing they barely eat fiber… then getting a little extra about it.

Eat more foods that still look like they came from a plant.
Beans. Berries. Oats. Veg. Seeds. Fruit with the skin on.
That’s the trend, minus the branding.
Talking to a friend today made me realise that most people treat the Recommended Dietary Allowance of 0.8 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day as a target to maximise muscle, control appetite, or manage weight.
It is not. It was set to prevent deficiency in most healthy adults.
A 70 kg adult at 0.8 g/kg only needs about 56 g a day. That is enough to avoid shortage. It is not an optimal strategy for training or fat loss.
Your situation determines the target.
0.8 g/kg: minimum for a healthy adult. Prevents deficiency. Not optimal.
1.0–1.6 g/kg: adults over 65.
1.2–1.5 g/kg: ill, recovering, or frail.
1.2–1.6 g/kg: useful range for most adults who want better satiety, muscle retention, and metabolic resilience.
1.4–2.0 g/kg: recreational lifting. Total daily intake matters more than the shake after training.
1.6–2.2 g/kg: maximising muscle with training. Extra protein above this gives diminishing returns.
1.6–2.4 g/kg: fat loss while keeping muscle. Or about 2.3–3.1 g/kg of fat-free mass in lean, trained people.
Pregnancy: 0.8–1.2 g/kg. About +1 g/day in the first trimester, +9–10 g in the second, +28–31 g in the third.
Breastfeeding: 1.1–1.3 g/kg. About +19–25 g/day in the first 6 months.
Mild illness or recovery: 1.2–1.6 g/kg.
Surgery or injury rehab: 1.6–2.0 g/kg.
If you have kidney disease, pregnancy complications, or recent major surgery, get the number from a clinician.
Example: an 80 kg person aiming for sustainable fat loss usually lands between 128 and 160 g a day. That is four meals of roughly 30–40 g, not a single 150 g steak and then nothing else.
You do not need a perfect number at every sitting. You do need to stop putting all the protein in one meal and starving the others.
@jon_d_doe You are a good person who pretended to be blind to the red flag you saw.
Maybe the "wifey" thing amongst other things he said and done to you made you believe he is different.
Next time vet yourself first before you even vet a wolf in Agbafian clothing.
