@MattWi77iams What about experts who compare how much a team has struck out vs. all pitchers in road games over a 29 game sample to how much they’ll strike out vs. the best young strikeout pitcher we’ve seen in years?
@JBRBracketology Fair! Some of your bullets are misleading at best though.
- “10 quad 1+2 wins” when only 2 are Q1
- Kenpom NCSOS is 232 - how is that “above average” and why is that even on here as if it’s a positive?
@NCSUFans Strength of conference ≠ number of bids.
CSU and UNLV blew out Creighton, Nevada beat TCU by 15, SDSU won at Gonzaga and St Mary’s, etc…
NC St’s best non-con win is Vanderbilt
@cjogara They’ve mostly lost close, won big, and absolutely pasted a lot of decent teams in Q2 (VT by 27, Indiana by 30, South Carolina by 40, Arky away by 30, etc.) Plus the Q1 is Bama by 18.
@Scion_Nick@Carsobi@TommyGunnNBA And that’s their “small-ball” lineup. They had Bogut/Javale and plenty of other big bodies when they needed them. Livingston lineups could be 6’7+ across the board.
@heelscentral Losing at UNLV is completely respectable and basically = losing at NC St (per Kenpom), which 3 of the ACC's tournament teams have done. Pretty sure only 3 ACC teams would be favored at UNLV.
@kerrancejames Is it really the bracketologists fault that having 11 losses is being held against them? Feels like that is the limiting factor much more than metrics/quads/bracketology etc.
