@Foleee1 I'm glad you reposted this, I remember seeing it once before and wanted to comment then. The palette & subject matter, even the execution, remind me very much of the painter Ken Curry, whom I very much admired (and still do) whilst studying. This piece is subtly unnerving
@deArtifact Think it was the silhouette of that vortex shape that first grabbed me and implies a large scale. But what's interesting is the shadow on the ground plane suggests a sudden drop off, like it might be situated on shelf or window - suggesting an entirely different scale altogether
