Select drop downs have well known usability issues and sometimes something else is better. And this is where design system documentation needs to give context. Where should you not use a component. @Amy_Hupe @webdevconf

No point reinventing the wheel with a custom form input made using divs... Or is it? It depends on your design principles? The under-engineered solution is usually best, but sometimes these things can be hard to style or customise. @adactio @webdevconf
