What was Adams saying here? Its significancy is paramount today as we face a sympathy for other religions as a priority over Christianity that our country was founded upon. It was never intended to represent or hold unity with people of other countries. Muslim countries have Muslim laws, culture, rules, and customs. India has Hindu laws, culture, rules, and customs. However, if a Christian nation with a Christian majority attempts to promote Christian laws, culture, rules, and customs, it faces strong resistance.- “Christian Patriot” As late as 1949, Bible reading was part of the educational routine in the public schools of at least 37 states. The horrific case of 14-year-old Afghan girl Bibi Sediqa shocked the world. After courageously refusing to marry a powerful Taliban commander in his 70s, she was thrown into prison. To "settle" the case, Taliban officials recently proposed a sickening three-day marriage to the exact same man. Her family bravely refused.
This is the brutal reality of a regime where a girl's basic human rights are treated as negotiable commodities. We cannot look away, and the latest updates show the situation has grown even more dangerous.
⚠️ THE LATEST UPDATES:

Investigation Stalled: Despite initial public outcry forcing a Taliban spokesperson to claim they were "following" the case, no actual fact-finding committee was ever formed. The regime's promises were empty.
Sentenced to 5 Years: Despite an initial acquittal, judicial corruption and political pressure from local elites resulted in Bibi Sediqa being sentenced to five years in prison. She remains locked away in the Badghis women's detention center.
Family Support Assassinated: The tragedy has deepened. A local ally who was actively helping Bibi Sediqa’s family legally resist the forced marriage was recently assassinated by gunmen linked to the elderly commander. Her family is now isolated and in extreme danger.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO US:
We already know what happens when individual liberties are completely overridden by extreme religious legal systems. Cases like Sediqa's are a stark, painful reminder of why we must fiercely protect our own legal frameworks. In the United States, the Constitution via the Supremacy Clause and the Establishment Clause ensures that no religious or foreign legal code can ever stand above American civil law.
THIS is what happens when women and girls are forced to live under a religious legal system that treats their basic rights as negotiable. We KNOW what Taliban rule looks like. We have seen what happens when religious law is allowed to override individual liberty. So why would ANYONE in America entertain the idea that Sharia should ever stand above American constitutional law?

It’s about time people started talking about this. Oil companies in the United States often get special tax breaks, and many other benefits for being an American company! Provided by United States citizens, so when they screw us purposely, and try to take advantage of us at some point it begins to be Personal! None of the oil we receive comes from the Middle East, domestic oil rates have not gone up, shipping costs have not increased other than increased fuel cost, which benefits them anyways. and this is a perfect example of why I don’t want foreign ownership of American companies. Do you want to invest in American companies? fine, ownership should remain American!
