he/him. Theatre maker. Host of INK & PAINT podcast (@inkpaintpod). Film critic for SWITCH (@maketheswitchAU). Art is subjective and so are my opinions.
It’s done. The Disney Renaissance season of INK & PAINT is finally written.
Ten films. Eleven episodes. 487 pages. Three years of work.
You bet I fuckin’ cried when I finished it.
Put down some words for @maketheswitchAU trying to make sense of the loss of David Lynch. Hopefully it’s even vaguely worthy of an artist who meant so much to so many and redefined what we thought cinema and television was capable of. https://t.co/xhmRL25lw5

WALLACE & GROMIT - VENGEANCE MOST FOWL: Yet another slam-dunk for Aardman’s crown jewel. The story cracks with wit, the animation is sublime and the pastiche of noir cinema is, as always, pitch perfect. I laughed myself silly and gasped with delight. Give it the Oscar.
My ★★★★½ review of NOSFERATU, director Robert Eggers’ delicious and unsettling reimagining of the 1922 classic. There’s a primal, elemental force to this film that had me totally enthralled. A definite must-see. Check out my review at @maketheswitchAU https://t.co/GgGASzXbI4
