Last day of my internship at the orthopedics department! There were no operations today, but I saw lots of consultations. I see that a doctor doesn't just need medical knowledge, but also good social skills.

I observed a second operation on the 4th day of the internship. After watching a Kidney removal yesterday, I experienced a femur drilling operation. The image is the X-RAY of the femur with a drill going through.

Day three at St. Yared's internship! I had an interesting morning session in the physiotherapy department. I saw many patients working hard to get better after their injuries, such as lack of coordination or even paralysis.

I learned in the laboratory how to analyze urine and saliva samples. It is an extremely simple method that tells us the pH, glucose levels, nitrate levels, and many other useful indicators of diseases.
This morning I was in the laboratory at St. Yared, analyzing feces samples. I saw some live bacteria, and thankfully no parasites. In the laboratory I can see the amazing impact of technology on the medical field!
