I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the people that have voted and supported me throughout the years on Lincolnshire county council. Unfortunately this time I did not make it through.
Big congratulations to bayleigh for winning on a hard fought and clean campaign.
** Road Resurfacing - Saddleback Road **
I'm pleased to share that highways have confirmed the first section of Saddleback Road in Skidbrooke will be resurfaced during May 2025.
This is not all of the road, but will cover the worse parts with the rest programmed in for a later date.
A letter will be sent out to residents with more details.
This is long overdue, as I know the road has been in poor condition for several years.
Given how these roads were originally constructed, I recognise that other roads in the area are also nearing the end of their lifespan. As such, Iβm keen to see more investment in other roads in this area.
If there's anything you'd like me to raise with highways, please get in touch!
Election Announcement:
The candidates have been announced, the starting gun has been fired for the Lincolnshire County Council elections for
1 May.
I have been selected as the Conservative candidate for the Saltfleet and the Cotes division.
It's my intention to run a clean and positive campaign based on my record of delivery and a promise to continue standing up for all residents if I am fortunate enough to be re-elected.
In Saltfleet and the Cotes on 1 May, please vote Daniel McNally a local candidate, with local knowledge, fighting to improve our area.

In such a sad turn of events with crew members still missing, the emergency services and the rescue tugs are doing an excellent job in trying to contain what could be a massive environmental disaster for the east coast. One of the burning vessels must have drifted out off the coast of Donna Nook, but I will update everyone once I have more information.
Really pleased to have opened the second community repaint store in Louth today.
Redecorating and running low on paint?
Pop down to Louth Household Waste Recycling Centre where you can collect free paint!
Paint is dropped off at the recycling centre and provided it is still usable, it is added to the Community RePaint store.
This then allows other residents and community groups to take any paint they might need from the store for free.
** Warren Road Drainage Issues North Somercotes **
Starting from the 17th Feb 2 way traffic lights will be in operation on Warren Road, Nth Somercotes.
These works are so trial holes can take place to check the ability to connect a new 150mm drain run in the footway, so all the gullies and offlets can run into this new pipe.
Once that has been completed the works on the footway and verges can be done in the Summer working in conjunction with the school to avoid any unnecessary disruption.
Once completed this will be far better for children getting out cars and and not getting splashed with standing water if you are walking near.
Another job nearly done.
Thank you to everyone that has responded to the leaflets with your opposition views on this site. I will continue to collate the responses. This is just the wrong area to destroy and must be stopped as quickly as possible.
A1031 speed limit reduced to 40mph at the North Cotes junction. This has always been a bad junction with many serious accidents. Hopefully it will be easier for motorists to get out there safely now.
Out till late last night delivering these leaflets. I will concentrate on areas most impacted first. However if you would like one, and live in the area I represent just drop me a message.
