The moralising about @benstokes38 for the ‘crime’ of being out an hour past some childish midnight curfew (he’s 35!) after he’d led England to a victory, and there were ten days to the next Test, is absurd. By this yardstick, England would have had two players in the ‘80s.
Liam Williams, George North and Leigh Halfpenny.
All retiring within three months of each other.
Bit much to cope with tbh.
It's like losing three pets, back to back.
🗣️ "I think it's very important for clean sport...I think it's a great idea. Maybe I'm due for the future to do the same thing."
🇪🇹 Yomif Kejelcha, today's London Marathon runner-up in 1:59:41 (second man in history to run a legal sub-2), applauded Sabastian Sawe for taking the extra step for more anti-doping testing ahead of the world record run. Kejelcha says he would also participate in more testing before his next marathon.
Kejelcha is also sponsored by adidas, which provided the funds to the Athletics Integrity Unit to handle Sawe's additional testing.
@MidwestGolfJake He has even asked the authorities to test him specifically more often than others to re emphasise that he is doing this clean as well.
Simply incredible!
Set a treadmill at 21kph ( max most will go to) and try to run for 30 seconds on it.
That's what he did for 1 hour, 59 minutes and 30 seconds.
The peak of human physical achievement. Insane, absolutely insane.
If dear Jim Furyk gets his backside handed to him on a plate in Adare Manor, don’t expect him to do a Humphrey Bogart and state “We’ll always have Paris”. Splendid.
The next time The Open is at Portrush, Rory shouldn’t be allowed to enter.
He’s practiced on that course more than the rest of the field. Unfair advantage 😜
