What a great surprise. My Dad bought me #AnotherDayInTheColony for Xmas. He must be listening to me. To @drcwatego , thank you for your learning - from a couple of whitefellas trying to decolonise. โค๐๐ค
my housemate just got rejected by Centrelink. I got my pay suspended a few weeks ago. this happens to thousands of ppl each week, some of whom reach out to us for help, others fall through the cracks. the scale of this financial abuse is overwhelming & itโs so hard to keep going
We must demand more. We must demand more than bravery.
I want wreckless. I want wilful. I want people to be prepared to tear apart the colony that they benefit from.
Because beware the calls for civilityโฆthis is a war, it always has been
@PaulMeekPerth It was a resounding Labor win. But, it does feel like the electoral map changed. Either Coalition fractures and something in the next decade emerges and/or Labor is vulnerable to further erosion. Albanese has an opportunity that he NEEDS to take..
@PaulMeekPerth Oh, another tidbit for your election party chatter. My prediction: Australians from Chinese backgrounds voters walk away from Morrison hard. That is one reason Reid is weak and Bennelong. Reid = Burwood, Bennelong = Eastwood. They will be too polite to tell pollsters.
@PaulMeekPerth You would be close to me then! I am on the tip of reid next to Blaxland. There was no Liberal fluting in large parts of Reid till last week and nothing like when Laundy was MP.
They are toast here in my view.
@AjaanMark Evidence is there. Economy shot, ministers retiring, in-fighting over pre-selections, struggling fund raising, no fluting in marginals, Polls have been bad for 12+months, waited till last moment to call election.
Are voters better off ? No
Evidence: cost of living top issue
@kristin8X But do not take my word for it. Look at what they are doing...
John Howard is campaigning in the Treasurer's seat.
Let that sink in...
They are toast..it is a question of how far.
@kristin8X They are gone kristen. LNP will not form government...there might be twists in the tale but the widespread coalition weakness points strongly to a change election. The polls are not saying Labor strength which can be tricky and illusory rather Government weak.
@AjaanMark There will be no surprises on the LNP side except maybe Sharma turning aside the Teal. It will all be bad news for Scomo.
I rarely get elections wrong.
My seat Reid is gone. Take it to the Bank.
