@AnthonyDiComo Also completely overlooked pinch hitting Young for Torrens with two outs in the 9th. If he makes the last out, now you’ve got a slow Alvarez starting the 10th. Didn’t burn them this time, but that’s basic situational awareness. An MLB manager has to be better than that.

@AnthonyDiComo I like all of them—but the Mets have only truly won with core pieces like Díaz, Pete, and Nimmo. This team needs to get younger and actually let controllable talent play. Vientos should be at first, and Mauricio should be getting DH reps.
It makes more sense to overpay on short
