@Kulambq How'd you find the letters? I thought the Ammons the best, then Ashbery, then Merrill too esoteric (my least favorite part of Bloom is the gnosticism), the others uneventful. Too much sycophantry in general. I imagine those letters with fellows critics have more juice.
