Overwatch Spotlight was a blast! I loved seeing everyone's reaction to what we've been cooking up over the past year. It was so hard to keep quiet knowing what was coming. Thank you @KarQGames, @Coach_Spilo and @Frankiep423 for letting me hop on stream to answer some questions!
@ofuda337 Yes, you can turn Aim Assist off in the Options menu, per hero. You can also selectively disable Friendly Aim Assist for both Ana and Juno, or configure it so that Friendly Aim Assist is only active for low health allies.
UPDATE: We've rolled back the Linear/Exponential minimum sensitivity change, players should feel Linear/Exponential return to normal. This change will likely return in the future as a configurable option in some form, so stay tuned.
With the fix, the minimum sensitivity for Linear/Exponential is now zero, which should make fine tuning aim adjustments easier for console players using these settings.
There's a bug fix we made in the Season 20 Midcycle patch that got missed in the patch notes (It's being added shortly) regarding Linear and Exponential Aim Techniques for gamepad. Previously the minimum sensitivity for Linear/Exponential was the same as Dual-Zone. (1/2)
At around this time every year, the Overwatch team hosts a cookie baking contest called 'Cookiewatch'. My entry for this year's Cookiewatch was Apple Pie Cookies. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out!
For console players who feel like their aiming is too sensitive, please try changing your Aim Smoothing setting from 50 to 100, and let us know if that fixes the issue.
@jaag112 Crossplay is only enabled for non-competitive modes, and it only kicks in when a Console player is grouped with a M&KB player. If you queue up in Quickplay solo or only with M&KB players, the amount of Console players you see in matches should be pretty small.
One of the Gameplay Engineers did some great work on improving Aim Assist for console players in Season 20. In playtesting, the new aim assist settings and defaults felt like a night-and-day difference, to the point where it might even shake up the console meta a little!
Console players, rejoice! ๐ฎ

I literally cannot stop playing Vendetta in internal playtests. Every chance I get to play her, I lock her in. Can't wait for everyone to get their hands on her!
You wanted a new hero? Tough luck โ๏ธ
Find out what Vendetta lost and what sheโs willing to do to get it all back in our newest Hero Trailer, โLa Lupa.โ ๐บ
The change to Stadium that reverts it back to Bo7 was done through our rapid balance update technology. Unfortunately, there was a bug that let a few heroes generate way more cash than intended that went out with the Bo7 change, but we just made another update to address that.
Didn't see this posted elsewhere, but it's worth calling out: There was a bug with Reinhardt's Earthshatter that went out with Season 19 that would cause it to miss enemies that were moving towards Reinhardt while he was using it. We made a fix for that earlier today.
The problem with shooting from a third person perspective is that the distance to your intended target determines your aiming angle. We do a lot of work under the hood to make the distance we choose seem intuitive to the player, based on what their most likely intended target is.
I've seen a few people talking about whether there's two checks for weapons to hit their target in Stadium. I was going to do a post on how 3rd person targeting works in Stadium, but then someone wrote this: https://t.co/w1twbKyDcf
This is a pretty close explanation!
Amusingly enough, I had to make a similar quality and style MS paint mock-up to explain this problem and how we were going about solving it back when we were implementing this for Stadium.

We initially rolled out our first version of Unapproved Peripheral detection in Season 10, but at the time we knew we wanted to go further. It took a year of development, but now there's official M&KB support, alongside improved detection technology.
Seeing some questions regarding whether Console players will still have Aim Assist if they group in crossplay with their PC friends.
YES! You will still have Aim Assist.
Aim Assist is disabled ONLY if you toggle M&KB support on, which is a new option in the Controls menu in S18
