Our undercover reporter, Chris Atkins, posed as a far-right journalist at the Reform Conference and got thrown out for asking difficult questions about Farage's corruption scandal @scatatkins
So, one of the main culprits in this Reform UK party sleaze-fest is @jtworr and apparently he teaches 'ethics' to undergraduates at Cambridge University.
I'm wondering when the media pile-on against Orr starts? 300 or more articles?!? ..like they did for Dr Jason Arday...remember that?
Nigel Farage and other senior members of Reform UK have been filmed by undercover reporters celebrating secret new foreign donations.
Channel 4 News and @Verbatim_Media, a group of investigative journalists, can today reveal a plot to break the law on party funding at the highest levels of Reform UK.
You can watch the full investigation here: https://t.co/f1g358fN2Y
Channel 4 News approached Reform UK, Mr Farage, Mr Jukes and Mr Orr for comment on the findings of this investigation. They did not comment but we understand they deny the allegations in full.
Our yearlong investigation reveals Nigel Farage courting illicit funding as part of a plot to bring foreign money into British politics, orchestrated by his top aides and caught on hidden camera.
Jason Arday "couldn't see a way out" amid rising scrutiny and public pressure before he died, said his friend and academic Kehinde Andrews.
Andrews said the death of Arday amounted to a "public lynching" and criticises the coverage of allegations of plagiarism that forced Arday to resign from Cambridge University.
Andrews said there should be an inquiry looking into how universities handled the allegations, which he said were false. Arday also denied the claims.
Arday was found dead in London on Friday.
Have you ever heard of Dr Peter Hutchinson, the former Vice-Master of Trinity Hall, Cambridge?
He was accused of sexually harassing 10 students. Despite the allegations, he was allowed to remain in his position under certain restrictions. After breaching those restrictions, he was removed from his role, only to be reappointed two years later. He eventually resigned.
And that’s not it. He also published an erotic fiction book featuring stories about students.
If you think this was reasonable and normal media scrutiny — and you’re defending it — even in the wake of a man’s death then truly, you have surrendered your humanity.
@gtors1@LFCLaurie …I agree they go over the edge on many occasions and I personally don’t want to watch a team I support do what they do. But that doesn’t mean we ignore the reality of quality they have, particularly Messi, and the fact they deserved to have won at least 1 WC
@gtors1@LFCLaurie Many “neutral” analysis would also say that’s why Argentina have been successful- because of that edge. It also seems you are mistaking en for an Argentina supporter. Believe me I am not. I’m Egyptian and English and wanted them to go out…
@gtors1@LFCLaurie …had to create chances to win the game, coming back from behind in stoppage time to get certain results. Those things also deserve credit, and it appears as though you are choosing to overlook that because you dislike them and the way they play
@gtors1@LFCLaurie …takeaway what Messi has done at the age of 35and 39 respectively. He, and Argentina, certainly deserved to have won one of these world cups
@gtors1@LFCLaurie You are completely diminishing the impact of what Messi has done in the last two world cups if you are only referring to subjective decisions in a couple of those matches in both world cups. Regardless of whether you believe the were the wrong decisions, you can’t…
