Today was the Baylor College of Medicine Division of Genetic Counseling and Genetic Counseling Program annual retreat. We had more than 35 genetic counselors in attendance as well as some virtual attendees. It was great to see so many colleagues in attendance.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting with March of Dimes and the Texas Society of Genetic Counselors! I appreciate them coming to advocate for postpartum Medicaid coverage, and increased access to doula services and genetic testing. #txlege
