@everyonehatesp1 I looked into $HGBL last year, but I stayed away because it seemed like they had started making some real estate investments that turned sour.
@anidesh7@ACapitalLP@jupiters_string The dividend cut signals a more sound capital allocation policy because this company was prioritizing capital returns at the expense of store quality and balance sheet health.
@anidesh7@ACapitalLP@jupiters_string The valuation is way too cheap to sell here. They need to let the new CEO work on the turnaround because the stock is very undervalued if he can stabilize and improve the business in which he as a good track record of doing at potbelly.
@taobanker Agreed and I applaud the new Wendy’s management team for reducing the dividend and pausing share buybacks. They need to invest their cash flow back into the restaurants and clean up the operations.
@taobanker Seems like a waiting game as those developments won’t be monetized for 1–2 years, but they are continuing existing land sales which are generating nice profits for the company. This seems like a long-term no-brainer and is very attractive to a patient investor at current prices.
@mathlonning He is a very competent executive and I credit him for helping turnaround the company and prioritizing growing the aerospace business. I hope Butler hires a good replacement and I have no doubt they will as the board is very strong.
@mathlonning Couldn’t agree more and we’ve been a buks shareholder for almost 2 years now and have been very pleased with the company’s performance. The stock remains undervalued, but it is sad to see Mr. Reedy having to step down as CEO.
@amit32883 Yes, it just depends on how the companies allocate capital. Unfortunately, most of the gaming companies that sold their real estate invested the capital in buybacks at high prices and online gambling, which has not worked out too well.
@amit32883 Casinos carry higher leverage, so I’d rather have the owned real estate and not pay high lease payments to a casino REIT. Take a look at the gaming companies who sold their real estate and notice the stock performance compared to companies like Boyd and Red Rock.
@amit32883 They are one of the best-run casino operators in the U.S. and Boyd also owns most of their real estate, unlike their peers who have been burdened with massive rent expenses as a result of a surge in sale and leasebacks recently.
How can a company go bankrupt when they still profitable producing $170+ million of cash per year, $300+ million of cash on balance sheet & owns $900+ Million dollars of real estate? $WEN
$BUKS/Avcon are relentlessly adding modification capabilities. These Challenger 600 series are the best-selling large business jet platforms of all time with over 1,000 deliveries and counting.

Really impressive valuation mark on $GFF's Ames Australia....11-12x EBITDA. Market still undervaluing the increasingly simplified pure play and single best publicly traded building products company.
@longcastadviser Agree. Own $MPTI, $TAYD, and $BUKS. Used to own $CVU but no longer. Seems like they could never get it together. First three have had a great run. Still lots of room for growth. A strong balance sheet goes a long way in microcap land and the first three have it.
