@moonsparrot@RockProud2@KaelanJoyce Unfortunately the “buy local” is going to be a thing of the past. With the prices of things here now. It won’t be long until shops start closing down.
@GBCNewsroom@tonyevans88 Maybe the OFT should enforce the fines they have given certain local companies. If they can’t enforce those that have done wrong locally what chance have they got in enforcing foreign businesses.
@KaelanJoyce OMG he is the only Dr. I felt listened to me and didn’t rush me out of the door. The GHA should try and retain the good ones instead they leave to go somewhere they feel valued.
@Calderon76J Other than the freedom of movement not one thing so far the benefits locals. Best to get a postal box in Spain and have your mail delivered there like people do already with Amazon etc. so much for prosperity. We have gone backwards!
Armed Spanish Police, in British Gibraltar just a few days after the 'fence' came down. Why are some pretending this is 'OK' and 'Amusing'? But more importantly why did @GBCNewsroom not run it as part of the news stories yesterday? Did I miss it? #Spain#Gibraltar#UK#Brexit
@GBCNewsroom Can’t manage the companies they already have, can’t uphold the Fair Trading Act, but they’re aces at writing self-congratulatory fluff.
Consumers get sold out, businesses get ignored, and the OFT keeps polishing their own halos.
Classic.
@keith_azopardi@votegsd Met with members of the GSD and been to the piazza before. The GSD don’t listen just like the GSLP. Not gonna waste my time with either party
@GBCNewsroom Going by the OFT’s history I think not. They can’t even enforce fines issued to local companies so how will they collect them from another jurisdiction.
